At Willow Grove we have many wonderful visuals and tools to help children express themselves. The posters below guide students  towards the language they can use during different social situations. Please feel free to use this language at home!

Zones help students identify how they are feeling.

" I'm in the (color) zone because _____"

 Size of the Problem helps kids evaluate and process a situation. The size of the problem should match the size of the reaction.

" This is a (size) problem"

After deciding on the size of the problem, students are referred to

The Wheel of Choice to provide choices on how to solve a problem.

" How can we solve this problem?"
